J's Favorite Things Giveaway #3

As my final giveaway I wasn't really sure what I wanted to do...but then I decided on this:

The new Britney Spears Circus cd (I'm obsessed with her songs Womanizer and Circus at the moment), and some Ghiradelli chocolate with caramel (because honestly, what woman doesn't need a little chocolate in her life?). Again, not fashion related - but definitely two of my favorite things at the moment.

As always, random.org will decide the winner...and to enter, you need to do the following:

1. Be a resident of the United States.

2. Comment on this post with your favorite holiday tradition!

The deadline to comment will be Monday, December 22nd at noon CST. I will announce the winner Tuesday morning, and the winner will need to email me at lookforless@gmail.com to arrange shipping details.

Speaking of Britney, if you haven't seen her caroling with Ellen, you must watch. Ellen is hysterical...

Love me some Britney and I aint afraid to admit it! Favorite holiday tradition? Probably when T and I open gifts, just me and him, Christmas eve before the family get-togethers. Sometimes its nice for some alone time before the family madness begins! ;)

My favorite Holiday tradition is baking the family recipe for special cookies. Everytime I bake them, I think of my mom and me in the kitchen when I was little -- and the best part is that they are really really good!

Even though I'm past childhood, my favorite holiday tradition is still sitting around my grandparents living room with a dozen or so cousins and listening to my Grandfather read "Twas the Night Before Christmas" to everyone. He has been doing this since my oldest cousin was born (she's now almost 30) and is still going strong. No one talks, or interrupts, all cell phones are off, and for about 10 minutes, it is peaceful and perfect... you can definitely feel the love in the room. :)

My favorite tradition is one my dad started: instead of writing our names on the gifts that go under the tree, we pick a theme and I use that for the gift tags. That way the kids don't shake the presents, because they have no way of knowing who the Mickey Mouse gift belongs to. This year's theme is animals. I wanted Ice Cream flavors but was outvoted.

My favorite holiday tradition is a new one that we started about 5 or 6 years ago...we all get together at my parents house and open gifts and then have a huge breakfast. So much good food, breakfast casserole, cinnamon rolls, bacon, sauaage, homemade biscuits! It is great!

I love all the holiday baking. It reminds me of being a kid and baking with my mom.

Making sugar cookies (my grandma's recipe) with my sisters! They are delicious and it's nice to have that reminder of her this time of year.

My favorite holiday tradition is definitely decorating the tree with friends/family, and listening to Christmas music while doing so :)

Love chocolate and a good cd. My favorite part of the season is curling up on a cold night with my husband and watching Love Actually. It just sets a wonderful loving mood up for us.

My favorite tradition was always going to my grandma's house for Christmas dinner, where everyone would convene and we'd talk and gather for a good five or so hours. Unfortunately, she passed away last Jan., so this year we have to make new traditions. (:

My favorite holiday traditions will begin this year. I welcomed a baby boy this year, so hubby and I are starting his Christmas' right. I will make monkey bread for breakfast and then open gifts together. Then we will spend the day with family.

I love Britney...the new CD is killer. I have two favorite Holiday traditions...the longest standing tradition is Christmas brunch with my family..it includes egg casserole, french toast, and ham. The crowning glory is the Cinnamon roll Christmas Tree...we have been making this since I was 5 or 6...my favorite newest tradition is my husband and I bundling ourselves up and driving out to the "country" to pick out our Christmas tree. We then bring it home, sip Hot Chocolate, listen to Christmas carols, and decorate the tree. Happy Holidays!!!
