Style Me Saturday [Belated]: 1 Dress, 3 Ways [Guest Blogger: Color Me Courtney]

Sorry for the delay on this week's Style Me Saturday everyone! The holiday weekend got ahold of me, and I'm just now getting back into the swing of things. Please welcome Courtney again, I love her outfits this week!

Hi all! Welcome back to another Style Me Saturday collaboration with me, Courtney of www.colormecourtney.com!

Today we make 1 dress work 3 ways. The dress is a whimsical twist on the lbd and actually reminds me of one of my favorite Kate Spade dresses, the Jillian dress. We're taking this dress from casual, to corporate, to cocktails!

First up, casual: Give this lbd a casual twist by wearing it over a chambray shirt, this is actually a trick you can do with a lot of dresses to either dress them down or give them sleeves! Click here to get the look.

Corporate: A fashionista still has to pay the bills somehow, but that doesn't mean her fabulous sense a style takes a back seat during her day job! Pairing a blazer over a lbd makes it work appropriate, and classic touches like a two tone bag or nude pumps allow you to pull off a classic office look. Click here to get the look.

Cocktails: Make this look the perfect cocktail dress for happy hour, because after all, it's five o'clock somewhere! This cocktail look is simple, yet chic so you could even make the conversion easily from corporate to cocktails with a few easy switches. Click here to get the look.

Style Me Saturday [Belated]: Leather & Lace [Guest Blogger: Color Me Courtney]

Sorry about just now getting this up everyone! I was out of town for the weekend...enjoy!

hi all!

It's me again (Courtney of www.colormecourtney.com) and I'm back for another guest post! Today we tackle leather & lace looks created from pieces under $50.

A litte lace - lace is always on trend for spring, but give this trend a twist by dressing it down with casual pieces!

Light leather - one's leather jacket usually only sees the light durring fall, but investing in a tan one can help get you through spring! pair it with slouchy boyfriend jeans & fun floral for a classic & cool vibe.

L&L - pair leather with lace in an unexpected way by sticking to a monocramatic color pallate, like bashful blush! The light color keep it's fresh & girlie without looking tacky.

Reader Ashley wrote in because her family is taking photos soon and the colors are white and khaki. She wants to wear a dress but wasn't sure what would look best.
