Look 4 Less Review: Paris Hilton Senorita Heels

These bow heels by Paris Hilton were originally featured on the blog as a look 4 less of the Valentino bow pumps (see original post here).

IMG_3593 copy1

First let me say that I ADORE these shoes. With the Valentino's out of my price range (unless they go on major sale), I had been lusting after the Paris Hilton versions for awhile. Macy's had 20% off recently, so I decided to take the plunge. I'm SO glad that I did, these pumps are adorable in person!! The bow needs a little work since they got kind of flattened in shipment, but I think that if I stuff some tissue paper in there they will perk right up. I ended up ordering a 1/2 size larger since they didn't have my true size available, and they fit pretty well but I will probably add some kind of insert to ensure they don't slip.

Would I recommend these shoes? Absolutely! I think that they are a great lookalike for the price, and I don't see how anyone could be disappointed in these gorgeous heels. If you'd like to purchase, they are still available at Macy's in several colors for $89 and you can click on the photo below.

Look 4 Less Review: Lulu's Tier Drop Dress

This dress was featured on the blog on December 31st as a look 4 less of the BCBG silk layered combo dress (see original post HERE).

IMG_3127-2IMG_3128-2

I was looking forward to receiving this dress as I'd put the BCBG version on my wishlist awhile ago. The dress arrived yesterday and the quality seemed good for the price, and I liked the color of the skirt (which is different from the BCBG version, and more taupe than pink as shown in the Lulu's stock photo) as well as the exposed zipper detail in the back of the dress. However, I have to return this item because when trying it on I realized it was WAY too short for me. Like, a gentle breeze could roll through and I'd be arrested ...it was that short!!

Would I recommend this dress? Definitely not if you have a body like mine (5'10", long torso), but if you are shorter or have a short torso it might work for you. Click here if you'd like to purchase.

Look 4 Less Review: RSVP Henny Pumps

These ruffled pumps by RSVP were featured on the blog as a look 4 less of Badgley Mischka's Tai heels. (See original post HERE.)

I ordered these pumps in black in my true size (9 1/2 medium if you were wondering) and unfortunately could not squeeze my feet into the tiny toebox. So, I recommend if you are buying this pump to definitely size up at LEAST a half a size.

IMG_2803

The main fabric of the shoe was kind of a ribbed satin, and although the ribbing is not super noticeable it kind of reminded me of grosgrain ribbon when I touched it. The ruffles along the side and back are a faux leather.

Would I recommend these pumps? If you are a ruffle lover and have been lusting over the Badgley Mischka Tai pumps then yes (but maybe order two for sizing issues and return the ones that don't fit?). I thought they were pretty good quality for the price as well. One other thing - although I was unable to get my entire foot in, I did read reviews that these shoes have significant toe cleavage. So, if that bothers you then these pumps may not be the best shoe to purchase. I hope that my review helps a little, please feel free to comment below if you have additional questions and I'll try to answer them the best I can!

I hope to do more Look 4 Less reviews in the future, but if any readers have purchased a look 4 less that I've featured here and want to review it (good or bad), please email me! I'd love to hear from you.

Look 4 Less Review: Express Boyfriend Jeans

These boyfriend jeans were featured awhile ago (see original post here) and it's just now getting nice enough outside that I can wear them! (Please excuse the slightly blurry photo - I desperately need a new full length mirror but this is the best photo out of all the different ones I took).

I took my normal size in these jeans, but because of the boyfriend style they are slightly baggy (especially in the waist/butt). These jeans are super comfortable and I can already tell they are going to be a weekend staple this summer! I would definitely recommend these jeans as an alternative to the expensive Current Elliot version (especially if you feel that they may be just a passing trend)...and now they are on sale for an even better price of $23.99 (currently $29.99 with an extra 20% off the sale price). Click the photo below to purchase, but hurry - limited sizes are available online.

Look 4 Less Review: ArdenB Ruffle Cardigan Sweater

This review comes to us from Christina at Christina's Favorite Things (one of my favorite blogs!). A big thank you to Christina for taking the time to do this, I appreciate it.

This sweater from ArdenB was originally posted as a look for less of the Line Marlene Cardigan (see original post here).

First I have to say that I love this sweater. I had been looking for a sweater like this for a very long time and I am so happy with my purchase. It is true to size and the quality is pretty good too. It's not too heavy so I think I will get use out of it during the early spring and fall months as well. I am very short (5'2") so the sweater hits me longer than it would on most people. I can't say enough how much I love this sweater. I have had it for about a month and I've already worn it a half a dozen times. I will either wear it with a scoopneck t-shirt or cami. The ruffles give it a unique look that most sweaters this style don't have.

If you are interested in this sweater, you can click on the original post link (seen above - it's the second look for less featured there) or simply click on the photo below. It retails for $48 and also comes in grey.

Look 4 Less Review: Wet Seal Blazer

This blazer by Wet Seal was originally featured as a look for less of the Alice & Olivia rolled sleeve blazer (see original post by clicking HERE). It retails for $38.50.

I found this blazer to be true to size (I got the size I normally get in jackets), and I feel as though it's good quality (especially for the price!). It has a nice weight to it, and the striped lining is adorable. It measures 28" in the back from the top of collar to the bottom of the hem, which is about 5 inches longer than the Alice & Olivia version (according to the Singer22 website it measures 23"). Honestly though, I would say it probably mainly depends on your body type (long torso vs. short torso) when determining where it will fall on you.

If you are interested in getting this jacket, you can either go to the original post (it's the second look for less featured there), or you can click on the photo below to purchase directly from Wet Seal. (Try this code for free shipping: 1107WLCE)

Coming soon...New Feature: Look 4 Less Review

Today while running on the treadmill, I thought of an idea for a new feature here at the Look 4 Less. I thought it might be helpful if I posted an occasional review of a look for less that I've featured on the blog. I don't purchase a lot of the items (mainly because my bank account would be in tears if I did!!), but I can post a picture and a quick review (sizing, quality, etc) of those that I do.

I was also thinking that I would accept reader reviews, if anyone out there would be willing to share a photo and a quick write up of the item they received (if you're interested, you can email me for more details at lookforless@gmail.com).

Any feedback is appreciated! I will try and post the first Look 4 Less review sometime this week.
