Favorite Things: Yellow Brick Blog

Lyndsy from Yellow Brick Blog is another blogger with great taste and style. One of my favorite things about her blog is her "Song of the Week" posts, as she introduces a song I haven't heard before or posts one that I love but haven't heard in awhile. Make sure you check out her blog for your style and music fix, but first check out her favorites...

1. Christian Louboutin Studio 120 Peep Toe Pumps.

The ultimate luxury item I am dying for. They are so beautiful and perfect and if Santa could somehow find a way to make them magically appear in my stocking, I would be a the happiest girl around town.

2. Thorn Apple D.L. & Co. Candle.

I received this incredible candle from Cassandra at Coco + Kelley and instantly fell in love with the scent. I can't bring myself to light the candle because it is so stinkin' pricey, but I do like to run my finger across the candle and rub it on my wrists as a solid perfume. One of these days, I am going to buckle and just light it!

3. Le Creuset Stoneware Petite Casserole.

I am a sucker for anything and everything mini, and I have had my eyes on these mini Le Creuset Stoneware Casserole dishes for over two years now. I would love to host a dinner party and serve macaroni and cheese to the guests in these little cuties.

4. Crushed Glitter Magic Wallet.

I have had my JCrew Magic Wallet for over 4 years now and it is looking a little worn and torn, and needs to be replaced. I am pretty sure that this Crushed Glitter Magic Wallet will be the perfect replacement.

5. White Christmas Movie

Every Christmas growing up, my mom and I would watch White Christmas the day after Thanksgiving to get the holiday season started off right. It has since become one of my favorite movies and has be singing "Sisters" for days after viewing.

6. Starbucks Eggnog Latte.

My best friend Carrie and I started the tradition in college that we couldn't indulge in Eggnog Lattes until the day after Thanksgiving. It is a tradition we have withheld for over 10 years now and I can't express in words how tasty that first sip is. The holidays have officially begun as soon as the first gulp goes down.

7. Philosophy Classic Cookbook.

I will be buying this little cookbook set and dividing amongst my co-workers and girlfriends. Affordable, sniffy and darling, this gift keeps giving since the bottle doubles as a recipe for the receiver to create.

8. Keel's Simple Diary.

I am dying to own this diary but also think it is such a great gift to give to just about anyone! This diary prompts you with simple questions so you have something to write everyday. I think it is so important to write something everyday, even if only a sentence a day.

9. Monogrammed Mugs.

I received my "L" mug 4 years ago from my co-worker Felicity and I have used it daily at work everyday. It is a totally affordable and personable gift to give and receive.

10. Wine Bottle Thermometer.

Talk about a fabulous host/hostess gift for all your holiday parties. This little guy measures the temperature of the bottle and shows you what temperature it should be for the type you are drinking. Awesome, unique and totally cheap!

Happy Holidays to all!
