Get The Look: New Year's Eve on a Budget

I thought it might be fun to post some fabulous New Year's Eve dresses for those of you on a tight budget. Each of these dresses will be $100 or less and hopefully will make your New Year's festivities extra special.

The (Not so Basic) Little Black Dress:

Silence & Noise Strong Shoulder Dress - $58. This Balmain inspired dress will give you a runway look on a budget, and also comes in grey or purple.


Forever 21's Rumor Mesh Tiered Dress - $24.80. This dress is not your basic black dress with it's layers of tulle, and with tights and some black ankle boots or pumps will be perfect for your New Year's Eve celebration. Don't forget the glittery clutch!


ArdenB's Beaded Strap Bandage Dress - $51 (on sale from $68). This dress will give you the Herve Leger look for a much lower price.


Charlotte Russe Feather Ruched Dress - $36.99. This dress reminded me of a Haute Hippie version (although the HH version is a tank dress instead of strapless), get this inspired look for a lot less cash.


Urban Renewal Jaquard Peplum Mini Dress - $58. It may look like your basic black dress, but the subtle pattern gives it a little something extra.


Kimchi Blue Taffeta Ruffle Dress - $68 (now on sale for $49.99). I saw this ruffled black dress (also comes in blue or purple) in the Urban Outfitters catalog and thought it would be a great addition to any ruffle lover's wardrobe.


Sparkle and shine:

Charlotte Russe's Sequin Tank Dress - $38.99. Charlotte Russe's silver sequin dress will give you just enough sparkle to stand out when the clock hits midnight.


INC International Concepts' Sequin Stripe Dress - $99. Inspired by Haute Hippie, this gold sequin striped dress will give you a designer look for a lot less.


Go Jane Ruched One Shoulder Dress - $63.99. Although it's not all over sequins, this Balmain lookalike has a great hint of sparkle. It also comes in black, purple, blue, and eggplant (kind of a dark wine color).


Forever 21 Sequin Single Strap Dress - $24.80. This dress is very similar to an Alice & Olivia one shoulder sequin dress, a great lookalike for a much lower price!


Shop Mamie Champagne Flute Dress - $58. If you want more subtle shine, this gold brocade dress from Shop Mamie will be perfect to ring in the New Year (unfortunately only limited sizes left!).


Guess Valeria Dress - $89 You'll definitely turn heads on New Year's in this sparkly ruffled dress from Guess.


Bold Brights:

Alloy Ruffle Dress with Low Back - $42.90. I love the color of this dress and the ruffled low back makes it interesting.


Kimchi Blue Pleat Ruffle Dress - $58. This dress comes in several bold colors as well as basic black. I personally prefer the wine color (concord) shown below.


Alloy Strapless Bow Dress - $42.90. I love this rich teal color and the bow on the side is just too cute.


Victoria's Secret Flirty Little Squareneck Dress - $65. If you're looking for a sexy formfitting dress with a bold color, this one from Victoria's Secret should do the trick. It is also available in a dark purple as well as brown or black.


Francesca's Collection Lindy Hop Dress - $38. Love the pop of turquoise (or purple) on this simple tank dress.
