Get the Look: Groovy Baby

Another trend spotted on the Spring 2010 runways was one that evokes the free spirited 60's - tie dye. It was spotted in almost every piece of Blumarine's collection, but Tory Burch and Proenza Schouler also integrated it into their collections. (Photo credit) I especially love the vibrant colors used in the Blumarine pieces, but all of the clothes shown below put a modern twist on a retro print.

If you want to add some tie dye into your wardrobe, I found some great options for you - all under $150! Here are my picks (as always, click on any photo below to purchase/for more information):

Victoria's Secret Terry Tie Dye Smocked Dress - $24.50 (on sale)
This dress is a dead ringer for last year's Juicy Couture terry tie dye dress (which retailed for $148). Also comes in green or black!

Forever 21 Tie Dye Maxi Dress - $27.80
Reminiscent of the Gypsy 05 maxi dresses, this is a great budget friendly option.

Roxy Surfari Cover Up Dress - $39.50
Love the bright red color of this tie dye swim coverup (that could easily double as a dress).

Rachel Rachel Roy Sexy Dress - $99
A more sophisticated take on the typically surfer girl tie dye print.

Lucky Brand Striped Tie Dye Cami - $12.99 on sale
Pair with some jeans and sandals for easy and affordable summer style, also available in brown/pink.

Forever 21 Striped Tie Dye Tank - $11.80
Also available in white/turquoise, this tank will allow you to try the trend for less.

Banana Republic Stripe Tie Dye Timeless Tank - $20
Get the tie dye trend plus a dose of nautical with this striped tank top.

Roxy Surfari 70's Halter Bikini Top/Bottom - $68 for both pieces
Basically the bikini version of the coverup/dress featured above. Love it.

Victoria's Secret Tie Dye Sexy Bikini - $39 for both pieces
I love the bright color of this bikini (also comes in a blue/turquoise combo), it reminds me of a summer sunset.

Gap Tie Dye Triangle Top & Bikini - $65 for both pieces (click HERE to purchase)
Thinking of getting this bikini for myself, love the navy/red color combo!

Lands End Women's Cotton Scarf - $29.50
Love summer scarves? Inject a little tie dye into your wardrobe with this cotton version from Land's End.

Can't get enough of the tie dye trend? Here are some more of my picks, again all under $150. Click on any photo to purchase/for more information.
