Style Me Saturday: Student Teacher

Reader Jennifer recently wrote in asking me to help her put together the start of a student teaching wardrobe. She requested skirts/dresses as well as pants, and wanted affordable items as she has a $200 Visa gift card that she wanted to use toward some clothing. I tried to keep most of the items fairly classic and basic (she cited Jennifer Aniston as a celebrity's style she admires) so she could add inexpensive accessories to punch up the looks. I also tried to use a few of the items in multiple sets to get the most mileage out of certain items. Here's what I came up with (click on any photo to purchase an item featured)...

Those are wonderful, Jen! I use my black blazers quite often to either dress it up or down my outfits. Can you suggest some cute flats with those, too? I'm a teacher, and I wear heels quite often, but there are days when I wear flats to give my feet a break, but I like to look stylish. :)

Thanks for all your ideas. I check your blog EVERY day! Love it!
