Style Me Saturday: NC Beach Wedding

Reader Jennifer wrote me wanting some suggestions for the October beach wedding she'll be attending in Corolla, NC. She wanted something elegant but appropriate for the relaxed beach setting, and wants to go barefoot for the beach ceremony. After checking the forecast (the Weather Channel says the average temperature is in the 70's in early October), here are the four options I sent her. You can click on any of the photos to purchase or view more information about the specific items, unless otherwise instructed.

This first look is my favorite of the four, I also love the way the model has her hair styled in a loose, chic braid.

I love the olive/dark khaki color of this grecian inspired maxi dress, and I couldn't decide if I liked flat embellished sandals or bronze strappy heels for the reception so I included both as options.

This Asos maxi dress comes in a few other colors (black, purple, etc) if you don't care for the blue color shown, and again I included embellished sandals as well as heels.

And for the final look, a one sleeve shorter dress from Lulu's (click HERE to purchase) paired with some simple gold jewelry and heeled gladiator sandals.

Thank you! I am in LOVE with the Ann Taylor dress. Love the ruffle!

I'm from the Outer Banks and these are all great options. You in truth will probably never need the heels. Bring a shrug though because the breeze off the ocean can get really cool really quick. Enjoy!

I spend quite a bit of time at the Outer Banks. It's very "blustery." Keep that in mind while picking your outfit.
