Get the Look: April Showers

With April fast approaching (can you believe it will be here on Thursday? Where is the year going?) and the rainy season just beginning, some of you may be in the market for that perfect trench coat. Whether you're looking for a classic trench to add to your wardrobe or want one with a bright color or fun detail, I have found a lot of great options (all under $150) to help you make it through any rainy days spring may have in store.

Urban Renewal Peplum Jacket - $78
I love this short, ruffled take on a basic trench (also available in tan).

Ann Taylor Loft Zipper Trench with Bow Sleeves - $148
Definitely unique, this trench is a great combination of tough (the bright silver zippers) and girlie (the bow detail on the sleeves).

Guess Tiered Trench - $118
This coat also comes in a khaki/grey color and is faintly reminiscent of this Burberry trench (just less ruffle).

Mac and Jac Tiered Trench Coat - $99
Speaking of Burberry ruffle trenches, this Mac and Jac version is also a great inspired by version for a lot less.

Forever 21 Bell Sleeve Trench - $32.80
Affordable and the bell sleeves add a little something special.

Elle Trench Coat - $49.99 (on sale)
A great basic trench in always chic black.

The Limited Ruffle Lapel Trench - $128
Seriously, can you tell I love a ruffle??

Martin and Osa Swing Trench - $140
The gorgeous coral color of this cropped trench (also available in grey) will definitely brighten any rainy day.

Old Navy Belted Trench - $49.50
This classic trench also comes in black, white, or khaki but something about this grass green color makes me think of the adorable Emma Pillsbury from Glee. (Photo credit)

Still haven't found one you like? Here are some more options I found, again, all for under $150. Click on any photo to purchase/for more information.

Love the F21 trench! It's in my shopping bag (along with many other things :|) as we speak! Nice post.

Great minds think alike - the F21 version is in my shopping bag as well.

although at ON this weekend I scored the khaki colored version of their trench for a stellar $30 plus I had a 10% of coupon. I had to get an XS for that 'tailored' look - although I typically wear a medium everything there so I was surprised I had to go with such a small size.

I <3 that Limited Ruffle Lapel one as well. :::Sigh:::
